Common questions
How do I convert mg to mL?
Divide the dose in mg by the strength in mg per mL. For 160 mg/5 mL liquid, the strength is 32 mg per mL, so a 120 mg dose is 120 ÷ 32 = 3.75 mL.
Why can’t I convert mg to mL without the strength?
mg measures how much medicine; mL measures how much liquid. The same mg dose is a different volume in each product, which is why the strength on the label matters.
